The Voice Our Youth Deserve

My Goal is to: To assess the way young people express themselves. To examine: problems, struggles, thinking, attitude & opinions through their play, actions, words, abilities, hobbies, & interests. To teach young people how to express their thoughts & feelings through words. To be an advocate. To make sure experiences are in their best interest.

About

I am here

I was born and raised here in Littleton Colorado. I can't imagine not living in CO. After graduating from a Jefferson County High School I attended Metro State College (now University). Building on my love for psychology and working with children I went to the University of Denver and obtained my Educational Specialist degree (EdS) in School Psychology. As a school psychologist I had the privilege to work with students at every grade/age level from preschool to 21. I spent my days counseling students, evaluating, consulting, administration, reports/paperwork, paperwork, paperwork, among many other things. During this time I attended the University of Colorado Denver and obtained my principal license. Looking for a change, I opened my own private practice in 2018. I hold certifications in: EMDR-C, Sandplay (CST) and Trauma (CSST II) and have taken numerous courses on CBT, DBT, trauma, and development. I I met and married my best friend while in grad school. We have two teenagers who keep me busy. I love to travel, read, paint, go to the zoo, sleep, and spend time with family. We have 2 black cats and one orange. I attend church and volunteer with the Kids Ministry.
